Goals for Evaluation
The QIADP will be comprehensively evaluated by an independent interstate evaluator, Success Works Ltd.
The broad aims of the QIADP pilot project evaluation are to:
- document the QIADP model of service delivery
- identify critical success factors and barriers to effective program operation
- determine health and social impacts of the program on participants
- determine criminal justice impacts of the program, particularly on the level of re-offending amongst program participants
- determine child protection system impacts of the program, particularly on the level of re-notification amongst program participants
- estimate the cost effectiveness of the program; and
- inform future program development and expansion.
There are two stages to the QIADP evaluation:
- Process Evaluation and Literature Review by 1 December 2008
- Outcome Evaluation by 1 December 2009
